— There are many ways to
GET INVOLVED
VOLUNTEER
Whether it’s in our shop assisting clients and helping with day-to-day operations, or participating at fundraising events, we are always looking for individuals interested in volunteering opportunities. Board and advisory positions also open up from time to time. Please contact info@WorkingGear.ca for more information.
MAKE A FINANCIAL DONATION
Working Gear relies on the generous support of individuals and the business community. We function with a very modest overhead and almost all of our donations go directly to program delivery and to purchase needed gear. You can make a one-time gift or monthly donation here.
DONATE CLOTHING
We welcome new or gently used office attire and construction clothing by appointment on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Working Gear accepts current, clean clothing and accessories that are acceptable for the workplace and will enhance the confidence of our clients. We are also grateful for unopened toiletries which we distribute to our clients. In respect for our volunteer’s time and our client’s needs, we cannot accept items in need of repair or cleaning.
